Ever imagined yourself going hungry for 3 days at a stretch? NO... we previlaged can never comprehend how it would feel. But that is exactly how millions of our countrymen and billions of humans all over the world are going through. We call our country 'developing'. We pride ourselves on our material wealth.. fancy cars, expensive watches, latest mobiles, cool bikes, exotic holidays, rocking parties, expensive weddings.......... what not? We never hesitate to grab a 'macdonalds burger' paying 60 - 80 bucks, we become blind to the hungry, begging child just in front of a mcdonalds outlet, we tell ourselves that 'the child beggar would be 'spoilt' if we pay him a few rupees'///!!!
We all are to blame... shameless show of wealth.. Did Mr. Mukesh Ambani not gift his wife a towering house, a private jet on her birthday? Did his conscience nevee ever prick him? would his wife have had minded if he had donated even half the amount to feed the hungry?
The government is to blame? Yes.. but what about us, as individuals? Is it not our responsibility too?
Please do something.. Let us support at least one hungry child each, the world will become much more beautiful, you will find real peace, happiness and satisfaction...
